As Christmas comes ever closer, thoughts turn to spending time with family and, in a few cases, how you’re going to cope spending all that time together without going mad! IKEA reckon they have the solution to any problem in the home, so last Christmas I suggested they embrace the usual family dysfunctions by solving family Christmas problems. Hapless Families saw IKEA stores turned into board games, where players sought clues to help each family member (characters top). The game begins with a playing card (above), whilst players are guided by the board in the form of floor vinyls. Tags are attached to items which may solve the problems.
